Once you arrive at Nice Cote d'Azur Airport, the Coach Charter German Airport Shuttle will be your best choice to start your trip to Nice. The seventh most populous metropolitan region in France and the capital of the Alpes – Maritimes is just a gorgeous area to explore. Nice's beauty comes from the 19th-century mansions on its promenades and boulevards, the old Italian quarter of the city, and the rugged natural scenery that offers a multitude of wonderful sights. Artists have always loved this landscape, making the rare light even more stunning in their works. Nice is also one of the best places to visit art galleries in Europe, with museums dedicated to Chagall and Matisse.

Here are our Top 10 places to visit when you are in Nice:
1. Promenade des Anglais
It's hard to think about Nice without referring to the famous Promenade des Anglais. Formerly a favorite resort for English people in the winter months, it is now the most popular tourist attraction in the region. Our bus company proposes a visit to the promenade in February, where you will take part in the parades of the busy Fun Carnival.
2. Musée Matisse
A fascinating house, the Matisse Museum is home to hundreds of works by renowned artist Henri Matisse. Located in the beautiful 18th-century Villa des Arènes, this is a great museum for both those already acquainted with Matisse's work and those who want to expand their cultural knowledge of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. There are also a number of temporary exhibitions that shed new insights into the life and work of an excellent painter. Charter your own tour bus and travel comfortably to the magnificent art museum.
3. Old Town
Another must-see in Nice is its old town with its dark alleys, colorful façades and typical Mediterranean shutters. It's hard to think about Nice Old Town (Le Vieux Nice) without considering the Cours Saleya, where the famous market and flower market takes place almost every morning (except on Mondays). Cours Saleya will be the first open-air flea market on Monday morning! It's also the best spot to have a drink or a meal on one of the many beautiful terraces.
4. Enjoy some Italian ice cream
While you're in the Old Town of Nice, you can make the most of it to enjoy traditional Italian ice cream. Our bus company recommends "Azzurro," which is located on Rossetti Square, not far from another well-known but less well-known ice cream store, Fenocchio. The quality of the products used is much better for Azzurro, and their cones are home-made, it has nothing to do with taste!
5. Parc de la Colline du Château
Some of the best panoramic views of the French Riviera are to be enjoyed in the park at the top of this steep hill on the east side of the city. Enjoy the amazing view across the beautiful azure Sea in the Bay of Heaven, it's a sight you 're going to want to take in for as long as you can. You can pick from all the landmarks, such as the Hotel Negresco and the port to the east. If you feel good about walking, you will be able to hit the top on foot from the Vieille Ville, but there is also a free elevator, which is recommended in the summer. You can easily get there with our bus service.
6. Parc Phoenix
There's a fee of three euros to get into this park, but it's money well spent, considering how many attractions this park has to offer. Kids go free and it's one of the few attractions in Nice that they're sure to enjoy. There are 20 theme areas, with 2,500 plant species growing around ponds, in a new greenhouse (one of the largest in Europe) and in a number of gardens. There are also animal enclosures and terrariums, including turtles, otters and exotic spiders, while mandarin ducks, Chilean flamingos and iguanas go about their daily business. Our rental bus is going to be your ride to get there.
7. Notre Dame de Nice
Founded in the 19th century, this majestic neo-Gothic structure overlooks the buildings surrounding it, the largest church in Nice. Unlike the Notre Dame of
Paris, this basilica is made of beautiful white stone and has golden features on its exterior, while its interior is no less impressive. It is especially worth seeing at night when the tasteful use of lights illuminates its iconic towers and stained glass windows in a beautiful and artistic way. Coach Charter Germany is your travel buddy.
8. Enjoy local Food
This one city has made a lot of contributions to French cuisine, and there are a variety of local dishes that you must try when in Nice. Salade Niçoise is the obvious one to continue with: it's hard-boiled egg, green beans, anchovies, tomatoes and calletier olives, and it's perfect with Bandol's rosé or Bellet's white wines. A more informal street food is Socca, a kind of cross between flatbread and pancake, made with chickpea flowers and sold to vendors in the old quarter. Ratatouille comes from this part of the country, too.
9. OGC Nice
From August to May, if you want a break from the intellectual and epicurean attractions of Nice and the French Riviera, you can still watch live football at the new Allianz Riviera stadium just a few minutes west of the capital. OGC Nice has enjoyed its best season for several years in 2016 and is managed by Swiss coach Lucien Favre, known for his glamorous football style. Use our bus company to get to the stadium.
10. Mont Boron
There is a hill between the port of Nice and Cap-Ferrat, which rises steeply from the sea and reaches a height of almost 200 metres. It's a special bit of open land left for olive groves, carob and pine groves. You can walk to the southwest side, where Nice rolls out to the reach of the Baie des Anges, and even the Colline du Château looks small. There is a large view of Cap-Ferrat on the other side, as you walk along the ridge back to the Fort du Mont Alban. This bastion was built in the middle of the 16th century and is open to visitors.
