Coach Charter Germany's team would like to invite your party to Rimini, one of the most famous and renowned beach resorts in Europe, thanks to its 15 km of beautiful white sandy beaches, a multitude of hotels and a plethora of bars and restaurants. Hundreds of tourists flock here to soak up the sun, relax at the beaches and avoid the busy urban life. As the capital of the province of Rimini, this town has a population of approximately 146,000, making it one of the largest in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. This region of Italy was once a powerful part of the Roman Empire, and the ruins of the Roman city can still be seen today in Rimini. Originally founded in 268 BC, it served as a vital communications outpost, and its location on the Adriatic Sea made it an important fortress. In the Middle Ages, Rimini changed hands and came under the rule of the Ostrogoths. This was also very significant during the Italian Revolution of the 19th century.

We welcome you to the top 10 ideas on your next trip to Rimini:

1. Arco d’Augusto

At the end of Corso d'Augusto, the Arch of Augustus is a magnificent site and the main historical structure in the center of Rimini. Built in 27 B.C., the arch was designed as part of the Flaminian defenses, which were demolished in the 1930s and named in memory of Caesar Augustus. Initially, an imposing statue of the Emperor stood at the top of the gateway, but it was replaced by a later medieval addition of crenulations.

2. The District of San Giuliano

The district of San Giuliano is also known as the Fellini district. Italian film director Federico Fellini rose once in this part. The historic neighborhood of Borgo San Giuliano, where there are: a small square and narrow cobbled streets, on both sides of which are similar to each other, are old colorful houses, the facades of which can be seen sketches portraying the characters and locations of Federico Fellini 's films. There are also several churches, including the Church of San Giuliano Martyr (Chiesa San Giuliano Martyr).

3. Rimini Beach

Rimini is renowned for its long stretch of golden sand and is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun and swim in the warm Adriatic Sea. Starting at the Parco Federico Fellini, the beach extends for miles and is lined with first-class hotels, beach bars, restaurants and large areas of sand filled with sun loungers. Imagine sitting back in the sun, enjoying a drink or two, swimming in the water, and maybe building a sand castle! The plethora of resorts and restaurants will keep you and your family busy for days, and you're just going to love the comfortable coastal environment and charm.

4. The Tiberius Bridge

The Tiberius Bridge (Ponte di Tiberio), also known as the Augustus Bridge (Pons Augustus) is the oldest bridge in Rimini, now an architectural landmark linking the old center of Rimini and San Giuliano. Initially, the construction of the Tiberius Bridge began during the reign of Augustus and ended in 20 years BC, during the reign of his successor, Emperor Tiberius Julius Caesar Augustus, in whose honor the Roman Bridge was named.

5. Italia in Miniatura

There is something inherently interesting about miniature model shows, and Italia in Miniatura is a truly spectacular attraction, showcasing some wonderfully designed versions of the popular Italian structures. Located about 15 minutes north east of Rimini, this attraction can be reached via the SS16 route and has parking space. Over 200 miniature versions, including the Coliseum, the Pisa leaning tower and the Florence Cathedral, can be found within the grounds. Every structure has an amazing degree of detail and has been consistently reproduced using scaled designs.

6. Piazza Tre Martiri

As the heart of the city, Piazza Tre Martiri hosted a variety of historic moments in the history of Rimini, a prominent location full of important buildings. The tiny but impressive Tempietto di Sant Antonio and the Chiesa Dei Paolotti can be found at the southern end of the square, while at the other end there are a variety of fantastic shops and restaurants and cafés of the highest quality. Seasonal markets are also held here at times of the year, and occasionally even musical concerts.

7. Piazza Cavour

Located in the historic center of Rimini, Piazza Cavour is a lovely public area with some beautiful architecture and also hosts local markets. This quaint square is approximately 5 minutes ' walk from Piazza Tre Martiri and a short walk from the Museo della Citta. Notable buildings on the square include the Town Hall and the opulent Galli Theatre. In the center of the square, however, is the Antica Pescheria, an ancient columned walkway leading to Via Pescheria. There are also a number of cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a tasty meal.

8. Parco Giovanni Paolo II

While Rimini is a world-class coastal resort, it also has a variety of beautiful public parks and Giovanni Paolo II Park is the most notable. This wonderful natural space can be located in the southern regions of Rimini, next to the Congressional Palace. At the heart of the park is the vast Mariotti Lake, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. This park is perfect for those who want to walk around and enjoy the outdoors, or for families who want an open area to relax and play sports. Footpaths pass through the parkland and open pastures provide space to play sports.

9. Castel Sismondo

Designed by Sigismondo Malatesta, Lord of Rimini in the 1400s, Castel Sismondo was once a vast complex with walls around it, but all that remains today is the central keep. The impressive building still holds a prominent role in the culture and history of Rimini, and activities and markets are still held within the grounds of the castle. All about the castle is unusual; from its unorthodox architecture to its amalgamation of various styles. You can take guided tours of the castle and learn about its detailed history.

10. La Ruota Panoramica

Sitting on the bottom of Rimini 's largest stretch of beach is a gigantic Ferris wheel called La Ruota Panoramica. This enormous wheel is 55 m long, has a weight of around 360 tonnes, and has 28 cabins with a maximum capacity of 168 passengers. What better way to see the city and relax than to take the Panoramic Route? The wheel will spin slowly and take about 20 minutes to complete.

We hope these tips will make your Rimini tour plans exciting. Exploring Rimini will open your eyes and your senses to fresh and exciting experiences in a little-discovered part of the world.
